So, I've come to the conclusion that Microsoft's marketing team might be the most retarded group of people I've ever had the privilege of witnessing. Apparently listing a device, on your own company's store, as being $149.99 does not mean that it will actually cost $149.99. What are you on Microsoft?!?! If you can't even give us a simple straight forward answer on a price for Kinect, how am I supposed to take anything you say seriously. The only way I can forgive them is if they list this thing below $80, if not, I'm done with Kinect.
Now that I got that out of my system, yes, you heard me correctly, Microsoft is saying that the price on their own web store is not officially correct. According to several online websites, Microsoft has stated that, "We haven't yet announced pricing details for 'Kinect for Xbox 360, stay tuned.'" Apparently Microsoft feels that they have some big surprise up their sleeve that we should all be excited about. Personally, I could care less.
I saw the Kinect's price on Walmart.com saying it was 149.99 and that was like 3 days ago before they even announced how much it officially cost so I think there is some hidden agenda Microsoft is not saying to the public.
Microsoft must be playing with their customers to see how people would react to the price range and then lower it down so people would be satisfied later to buy it.
