Hey you like what I did with the name, it's called alliteration. I thought it was cool anywho; I doubt anybody will read this the day I post this because everyone and their grandma is playing Reach. Sadly I have 5 meeting today so Reach time is limited for me. I have played the fist level so far and it's pretty sweet. My favorite moment though was when I was shooting an Elite, and then an Ostrich decided to run out and get blasted by my plasma rifle...good times. So with yall grinding through Halo as fast as possible and disregarding the outside world, luckily I'm here to tell you about interesting information that has transpired over the last few days.

Interesting tidbit 1: Dead Space 2 introduces it's multiplayer component. Have you ever wondered what Resident Evil mixed with Left 4 Dead would be? Well look no further. Dead Space 2 comes with a multiplayer that includes 5 timed objective based missions. The 4 human players fight against 4 player controlled necromorphs plus AI general infected....I mean necromorphs.

The humans look like Issac with varying colors of armor and the multiplayer includes all of the guns present in the last game. While I don't necessarily think that all games need to have a multiplayer, I think Dead Space had a good enough engine to where they could have had one.

Here's a little sample of the fun:

Next up on the chop block is even more zombies. Part 1 of Valve's 4 part comic series "The Sacrifice" has been posted on their blog here. I don't want to reveal any of the story here, but I will say that if you like L4D in any way at all you will enjoy this. Its a quick read and has me excited for the next installment.

Next up is a very very nice piece. Some of you may have seen this on the Xbox Dashboard when loading Halo Reach, Joystiq has posted up a picture of Microsoft offering a 40% discount on a full years membership of Live and included is a free Avatar costume of a Spartan helmet. 12 months for only $29.99 is a complete steal! Anyone who plays Xbox Live I full heartdly suggest you buy this while it's only 30 bucks, before pricesess get hiked up to $60 later this year.

Finally, I know John beat me to posting a main article in which an Ico/Shadow of the Colossus being put on walmart.com. Now the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has confirmed this re-release of these 2 iconic games. Details of the exact release date is unknown, but at least we now have confirmation of their existence.

A good week in gaming indeed, I hope everyone is having fun with Halo; but don't forget that there's even more goodness coming out soon.

  • COD: Multiplayer Trailer

I'll admit, I haven't been too excited for Call of Duty: Black Ops. The only thing that has really interested me so far has been the single player, because the Call of Duty campaigns have always been great at delivering an action-packed, intense single player experience. Check it out!
