| Interesting Fact: That binary means Revolution |
Recent Articles
Yea, Yea the titles a little misleading. What I mean is that I will be covering 2 DLCs instead of wasting space and time writing another post. So lets start out with the big news. For those of you who have thrown Borderlands into the garbage fish it out 'cause your in for a wild ride.
To start with I will go back to old news and inform those who don't know about Claptrap's New Robot Revolution. Take-Two Interactive announced back 1 month ago on August 11. That they would be making a fourth DLC called Claptrap's New Robot Revolution. They said:
"This fists-of-fury-filled fourth add-on pack from the popular franchise will be available this September via Xbox LIVE(R) Marketplace for the Xbox 360(R) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft for 800 Microsoft Points and the PlayStation(R)Network for the PlayStation(R)3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC for $9.99."
While knowing how much it would cost and when it would come out was all good I wanted to know more about it so I did some snooping. In an update they gave some details about this new add on. They said:
"Claptrap's New Robot Revolution invites single-player and co-op fans back to try to suppress a deadly Claptrap revolution using one of four infamous vault hunters. The foursome find themselves caught in the crosshairs of a deadly civil war between the Hyperion Corporation's well-armed armadas and the ever-amassing army of homicidal Claptraps led by one of the most eagerly awaited characters in the franchise's history - the cunning Ninja Assassin. As vault hunters, players must put aside their past differences with Hyperion Corporation, namely the organization's repeated attempts to wipe them from existence. For a hefty payday, they will join forces to help beat down the mechanical uprising and thwart the dastardly kung-fu expert, the Claptrap known only as Ninja Assassin."
Whoo, now that was a mouth full. One of the most interesting things to me is that they are going on to another weapons facility. General Knoxx was Atlas Corporation, Zombie Ned was Jacobs Corporation, and now Claptrap is Hyperion Corporation. Umm here are some interesting photos about this DLC. They definitely bumped up the humor with most of these.
Now for DLC # 2. We talked about this a little in the podcast yesterday. A free DLC will be released near the Game of the Year edition of Borderlands. Sometime in late October. The DLC will be an increase of 8 full levels bumping up your max level to 69. This game has so many innuendoes...
So look forward to all the Borderlands greatness. I wonder if Crawmerax will level up to? He wouldn't be so hard if he didn't...
