Over the past few weeks there has been a lot of talk and controversy over the character changes in Infamous 2. So much controversy that the art designers went back to the drawing boards and changed Cole back to his original(ish) look. But was this original look really that great?

Just for reference here is Cole from the first game:

And here is the Jason Statham, I mean newer Cole:

I guess my question to you all is; Why was there such an uproar when they changed Coles appearance? People didn't really seem to love the first character model, they were more "Shmeh" about it. Why is the below Cole bad?

  1. On the Gameinformer mag, he looks like a snooty nosed punk. While, his original one he looks like Howie Mandel. So, Snooty nosed punk...or Howie Mandel?

I didn't see anything wrong with the looks or personality of the character and I thought it was strange that the company would spend so much money trying to give a new image to character that fit pretty well into the game.

  7. I personally liked the old Cole and was bummed that they decided to change the look. I'm kind of glad they went back towards the original design, like Evan said, why change something that clearly, no one really had an issue with. On the plus side, I'd much rather run around a city looking like Jason Statham than some "snooty nosed punk."

I'll admit, I haven't been too excited for Call of Duty: Black Ops. The only thing that has really interested me so far has been the single player, because the Call of Duty campaigns have always been great at delivering an action-packed, intense single player experience. Check it out!
