Little Big Planet - Marvel DLC is Coming!


I've been a huge fan of Little Big Planet ever since it was first released for the PS3. The clever puzzle/platforming, combined with the insane level creator tools, provided for one of the most fun and unique gaming experiences I've ever had, and it seems like Media Molecule isn't done yet.

On July 7th they will be releasing a brand new DLC level kit inspired by Marvel comics. It will contain 4 new levels where you will be fighting "against the evil plans of Magneto." In addition to the new levels, Media Molecule is also releasing four different costumes packs, each containing characters from the Marvel universe. According to the official LBP website they will include:

Captain America
Daredevil
Doctor Octopus
Elektra
Ghost Rider
Green Goblin
Hulk
Invisible Woman
Iron Man
The Human Torch
Magneto
Mystique
The Punisher
Rogue
Spider-Man
Storm
The Thing
Thor
Venom
Wolverine

I, personally, can't wait for this DLC to come out. I really enjoyed the Metal Gear Solid and Pirates of the Caribbean level kits and I suspect that this new Marvel level kit will not disappoint. Check out the entire article at the official LBP website by clicking here.

  • PAX 2010: Infamous 2
